Reassign a Load to a Different Driver

Unexpected events can impact load assignments including medical emergencies, sick days, traffic conditions, and mechanical breakdowns. When necessary, you can reassign loads from one driver to another driver. The original driver is unassigned from the load and the new driver is assigned as a substitute or replacement driver.

  1. In the top menu bar, click FIND LOADS and then choose My Loads.

  2. Filter the status of loads to show only Assigned, Accepted, or InTransit. You can reassign loads only if they have one of those three status values.

  3. Find the load you need and click Edit (the pencil in a circle) to the right of the driver name.

  4. In the Drivers window, click the Assigned button.

Result: This load is no longer assigned to the previous (original) driver.

  5. To re-assign the load to a different driver, click Assign next to the new driver name.

Result: The load is now assigned to the new (replacement or substitute) driver.
