Resolve EMC Error Getting Deployment Info, Get Deployment Settings, Login Failed for User
Use this article to resolve Synergize Enterprise Management Console (EMC) errors getting deployment info, deployment settings, and login failed for user. When the database password is recently changed, the Synergize EMC will sometimes not launch properly resulting in these error messages.

Instruct the user to click OK.

As an admin, log in to the server.

For Synergize 12.x, from the 'My Computer' node choose 'COM+ Admin Application'. Click the 'Deployment Database' button, set the 'Database Name' to use your SynDeployment database.

For Synergize 13.x or newer, from the 'My Computer' node click the 'Deployment Database' button.

Set the 'Database Name' to use your SynDeployment database.

From the 'Repositories' node choose your repository. Click the 'Database Connection' button, update the database password.

Update the 'Database Connection' password for all the repositories

You will be prompted to Log in to the Deployment Profile, please enter your Deployment username and password.

Refresh the COM+ applications.

Restart IIS (Run iisreset command in CMD).
