Resolve Synergize Web Explorer Error: Illegal Address when Emailing a Document
Use this article to resolve errors you might get when attempting to email a document through Web Explorer. This error blocks you from sending documents by email from Synergize Web Explorer 13.0 and newer editions because the application is not able to use the email application installed on the workstation.

In Synergize Web Explorer, click your
user profile and choose Tools, Preferences.
In the main menu, you can also choose Tools, Preferences.

In the Preferences window, click the E-mail tab and select one of the following options in the Email Service Provider drop-down menu:

Gmail

Outlook
-
YahooMail
No configuration is required after selecting any of these options.

Click OK to close the Preferences window.

Open the Preferences window again (repeat Step 1).

Click the E-mail tab and select the Local Default MAPI Client option from the Email Service Provider drop-down list. Click OK.
