Resolve Synergize Viewer Run-time Error 53: MD_PixScan.dll file not found
Use this article to resolve an error that users might get when they launch the Synergize Viewer application or create a page scenario in Synergize Viewer. The Synergize Viewer application window fails to open.

Tip: This error might occur because a default page scenario is removed or the MD_PixScan.dll file is missing, possibly due to the removal of at least one of these files during anti-virus or anti-malware scans.

Identify the version of Synergize client installed on the client user machine.

Make sure you are logged in as administrator and back up the deployment URL.

Find the same version of the Synergize client install package and install just the Synergize Viewer application on top of the existing Synergize client.

After installing, launch Synergize Viewer by using Run as Administrator.
