Over, Short, or Damaged Cargo Claims
The Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OSD) item type provides a way for a driver to communicate that something is wrong with the load. It is typically something that wasn't planned, such as damaged items in the load, or a problem finding or loading items. Typically, the problem justifies filing an insurance claim at some point later.
-
The over, short, or damaged (OS&D) claims feature allows the driver to report the overage, shortage, or damage information, receive and accept new claim information, and send documents and color photos to support the discrepancy.
-
If OSD is not configured on the TRANSFLO® back-end server, it still appears in the mobile app menu, but it won't be functional.
-
TRANSFLO® Express Server Administrator is used to set up the loads functionality for the TRANSFLO® Mobile+ Menu Administration Tool.
-
The OSD feature is often abbreviated OS&D.
