Settlements
The Settlements feature provides your drivers with payment details and invoice settlement notifications and a count of the number of unread settlement notifications. If configured, a Settlements dial or menu item contains an icon and a title, as well as a badge indicating any settlements received. In the mobile app, selecting the Settlements dial opens the Settlements page.
As a Transflo customer (carrier, broker, or shipper), use the Settlements feature to send messages about payments or settlements to the driver like the 2-Way Messaging option, but only in one direction, dispatch-to-driver. This option can also be used by the driver to view settlement messages, payment amounts, and documents. Examples include payroll, pay stubs, W2 forms, 1099 forms, or any other form of compensation for hours or miles driven, fuel costs, or other load-related costs for which a driver is compensated.
In Mobile Menu Administration, the Settlements item type can be configured to provide a driver with their settlements. Similar to notifications, drivers can mark all settlements as read or delete all settlements. Historically, the Settlements feature was included in the mobile app before there was a Notifications function; however, using Notifications can provide additional functionality.
