Sign Documents
As a consignee or receiving clerk at a retail store, distribution center, or warehouse, you might be asked by a driver or shipper to sign an electronic bill of lading or proof of delivery document. The Transflo system sends you one or more SMS text messages or email from noreply@transflo.com indicating that the driver or shipper has requested that you sign the eBOL/ePOD documents. Their request or invitation to you includes a link to a web portal where you can sign at your earliest convenience.

Instant signatures are also supported. Consignees or shipping clerks can electronically sign the ePOD immediately after delivery if a driver hands you their tablet or smart phone with the document open on the screen.
-
Enter your name or have the driver type your name.
-
You or the driver taps Consignee Sign on This Device.
-
The driver physically hands you their device.
-
At the top of the screen, tap Add Signature.
-
With your finger or a stylus pen on the screen, write your signature.
-
(Optional) To add notes that appear directly on the digital page, tap Add Notes.
-
When finished, tap Done and then tap Submit.
-
A confirmation number appears; however, you do not need to make a note or take any action. The shipper, driver, and consignee automatically receive a link by email.
-
Hand the device back to the driver.

Instead of signing on a device that the driver gives you to sign, you can receive an invitation with a link where you can sign at your earliest convenience (preferably within the next 15-20 minutes since missing signatures can often cause unwanted delays):
-
The driver enters your mobile number or email address and taps Send.
-
On your computer or mobile device, you receive a request to sign.
-
Review the invitation to make sure it is valid. Verify you recognize the shipper and secure https link to tflo.com.
Example:
DRIVER (first and last name) from SHIPPER (a shipper that you recognize) has requested you to sign documents via Transflo eBOL.

-
At the top of the screen, tap Add Signature.
-
With your computer mouse, trackpad, finger, or a stylus pen on your touchscreen, write your signature.
-
(Optional) To add notes that appear directly on the digital page, tap Add Notes.
-
When finished, tap Done.
-
(Optional) You can add notes after signing to associate additional information as metadata with the document but not actually show your notes on the digital page. To add this type of note, enter your note in the Notes field.
-
When finished, tap or click Send or Submit.

-
Always respond within a few minutes. Remember that drivers, shipments, and sales might be delayed if you delay.
-
If you cannot remember whether you already signed an invitation, click it again.
-
If it shows Signed Documents for this invite have already been sent, you already signed.
-
If it shows This invitation has Expired, you can no longer sign this document.
-
After you sign, you will receive an email or text message confirming that you signed. This automated message from noreply@transflo.com also includes a link where you can view and download the originals for up to 14 days.
