Use this article to resolve Automation Error: The Object invoked has disconnected from its clients (with Abort, Retry, and Ignore buttons) when opening a document TIFF image file larger than 8.5 x 11.0 inches.

Determine if the document size is more than 8.5 x 11 in.

To check the file size, right-click the file and choose Properties.

Click the Details tab.

Divide the resolutions by 300 pixels per inch to get the equivalent measurements in inches.

Width/Horizontal resolution = 14263/300 = 47.5 in

Height/Vertical Resolution = 11271/300 = 37.57 in

The example document size is 47.5 x 37.5 in
2. If the document size is more than 8.5 x 11 in, you need to re-scan or downsample the document with proper size format.
