Accept, Decline, or Counter Offer a Load
As a carrier leveraging the power of the Transflo Command Center platform to manage a fleet of trucks and drivers, you might receive load offers directly from other carriers, brokers, or shippers (the sender of the email is always Transflo to let you know it is a trusted source). Shipping and logistics professionals refer to this process of offering you or your drivers a load as tendering a load.
After you receive a text or email message indicating that you have been tendered a load, review the rates, dates, and location details and then decide to accept, decline, or send a counter offer.
As a broker, we include this help topic in the broker edition of this online help KB to help you understand what your carriers are able to see and do in Transflo Command Center.

-
Open your e-mail and view your inbox of new mail.
-
Open the message sent from TRANSFLO and click the special link. As a driver, you must click the link on your mobile device so it opens correctly in the Mobile+ app.
-
Tap or click on Accept or Decline for the load.

As a carrier, if the rate, dates, locations, stops, and other freight requirements for the load are acceptable to you and your driver, you can accept the load.
-
In the top menu bar, click Find Loads and choose Broker Offers.
-
In the list of loads on the Loads page, filter the Status field by Tendered. You can also search or sort the rows of loads.
-
Loads with a status of Tendered have been offered by brokers to one or more carriers and are waiting for a driver to decide to accept the offer.
-
Booked and Pending loads have already been accepted. When the broker confirms your acceptance of an offer, the load status changes from Pending to Booked.
-
As a carrier, when you assign a load to another carrier or decline and withdraw from the load offer completely, its status switches to Unavailable.
-
You can click anywhere in the row, to open more details about that load.
-
-
Click a Tendered load to expand it or double-click to open it.
-
To accept the broker offer, click Accept.
-
Review the pop-up message and then click the Accept button.
Tip: The load is now in Accepted/Pending status until the broker confirms.
-
To return to the Loads page, click the Back arrow.
-
On the Loads page, select the next Tendered load and repeat these steps.

As a carrier, if the rate, dates, locations, stops, or any other freight requirement for the load is not acceptable to you or your drivers, you can decline the load. When you decline, it helps remove the clutter from your view of other loads and lets the broker know so they can make their own business decisions and find another carrier.
-
If you receive a broker offer by e-mail, you can click Decline directly in the e-mail sent by Transflo.
-
In Velocity+ repeat the steps above to open a Tendered load.
-
On the Load Details page, click Decline.
-
Choose a reason in the drop-down menu and enter any notes.
-
Click Decline.
-
The load is now in a Declined status.

As a carrier, if the rate, dates, locations, stops, or any other freight requirement for the load is not acceptable to you or your drivers, but you still might be able to accept the load, you can issue a counter offer back to the broker.
-
Broker offers with load details are typically emailed to the same email address you or your drivers used to register with Transflo.
-
Carriers, brokers, and shippers can register with Transflo directly or through Velocity+ Command Center.
-
Drivers can register when they download their Transflo Mobile+ app.
-
As a carrier, when you add drivers in Velocity+ Command Center through the Driver Connect feature, make sure you are using the matching email address for the driver. Use the same email address in the Mobile+ app and in Velocity+ so that drivers can receive load offers.
-
-
As a driver, fleet manager, dispatcher, or carrier representative, open your email inbox and review the load offer. Or, log in to Command Center:
-
In the email or on the resulting Load Details page, review the load details. Choose one option:
- When you click or tap Counter, the Counter Offer page appears.
Enter details in the fields that you want to change. The system configuration might not allow you to change certain data; for example, brokers often lock fixed values for the Type and Quantity fields.
In the example below, the flat rate or total payment amount to deliver the load was increased to $5,000.
Click Submit.
-
The status of the load changes from Tendered to Countered.
-
To close the Load Details page, click Close.
