DMS Batch Scan Keyboard Shortcuts
The following is a list of keyboard shortcuts that enable you to accelerate productivity by navigating throughout the system without having to use the mouse.

ALT + C |
Closes the new batch window or opens a new batch window, or closes the Jump dialog box. |
ALT + O |
Opens the Options or Jump dialog boxes. |
ALT + TAB |
Moves back a field when in the New Batch window. |
TAB |
Moves forward through the options. |
ALT + F4 |
Closes the current window. |
Home |
Displays the first page in the batch. |
Page Up |
Moves to the left (backward) two images. |
← or ↑ |
Moves to the left (backward) one image |
Alt + J |
Allows user to jump to a specific image |
→ or ↓ |
Moves to the right one image. |
Page Down |
Moves to the right two images. |
End |
Moves to the last image in the batch. |

Keyboard Command | Action |

F2 or Alt + C |
Scans a batch of documents. You will be prompted to confirm processing of the current batch before scanning a new batch. |
F4 or Alt + R |
Replaces the current image and scans the next page in the scanner tray. Allows for rescanning a document that may have been poorly scanned. |
F5 or Alt + I |
Scans documents and adds them to the current batch before the selected image. |
F6 or Alt + A |
Scans documents and adds them to the end of the batch. |
F7 or Alt + E |
Deletes the batch. |
F9 or Alt + D |
Discards the batch. |
F10 or Alt + L |
Opens the Log file for the current day (today) in the Windows Notepad application. |
F11 or Alt + O |
Sets or modifies application and scanner options. This key works only if the options shortcut is available. |
F12 or Alt + X |
Exits the Batch Scan application. A message appears to confirm the processing of the current batch before exiting. |
