Drivewyze Weigh Station Bypass
As an administrator, use this KB article to configure Drivewyze for a Mobile+ account subscription. As a fleet manager or customer, use this KB article only if you need to understand how Drivewyze will appear in the mobile app for your drivers or if you need to perform the manual spreadsheet sync between Geotab, Transflo, and Drivewyze. As a driver, see Drivewyze in the Transflo Mobile+ App.
The Drivewyze feature and Drivewyze SDK item type provide a way for drivers who are certified in the Drivewyze system to legally bypass weigh stations. To learn more, see Drivewyze in the Transflo Mobile Plus app.

In mid-2025 a new automated API integration was introduced. The new Automated Geotab-Drivewyze Sync service automatically synchronizes assets between Geotab and Drivewyze removing hours of manual data upkeep.
If you ever need to revert to the manual steps, we include them below. As a Transflo customer, you can continue to manually integrate data.

Vehicle and other asset data in Geotab can manually sync with Transflo data and Drivewyze data. Drivewyze is only updated using data synced from Geotab vehicle management at this time. Until a future update allows ELD users to manage their vehicle asset data in the Geotab Telematics portal, Transflo Geotab customers can submit a ticket request and a pre-formatted .xls spreadsheet to Transflo Support to update their vehicles.
Use the following columns for your spreadsheet data:
-
Carrier Name: Must match the company name on file with Transflo when your contract and subscription were authorized.
-
Carrier DOT Number: Must match DOT number on file with Transflo.
-
Power Unit Number: All values must be at least 2 digits.
-
VIN Number: Must be accurate.
-
License Plate: Must be accurate.
-
License Plate Jurisdiction: State or province of issue for the license plate (for example, PA, FL, TX, or MB for Manitoba).
-

-
Full Bypass Service: The full paid service to legally bypass weigh stations available all the time.

Full Bypass Service Evaluation: The evaluation period is 30 days. After that period, one bypass a month is available. The evaluation is meant to be a "pre-sale" offer so that you, as a customer, can test the functionality. After you decide whether to buy, they should be switched to the full service or removed.
Note: As an administrator, do not leave a customer setting in Evaluation mode beyond 30 days. This can result in service errors and billing discrepancies.
-
Analytics Mode Only:Analytics Mode is for behind-the-scenes data collection. The driver doesn't get any bypasses or receive any notifications on the phone, but data is sent to Drivewyze so they can analyze how many bypasses the driver might be missing out on.
