Transflo T-Series ELDs and Fleet Telematics
Telematics is an essential part of the end-to-end, cloud-based Transflo technology platform, designed to intelligently automate and simplify every part of the supply chain. With Transflo Telematics and a Transflo electronic logging device (ELD) for each driver, all your truckers are connected to the back office in real-time. Transflo Telematics is a complete solution that improves safety, simplicity, and efficiency in fleet management.
Every Transflo ELD is built on an open platform that can be customized for your fleet. Our powerful plug-and-play ELDs are easy to install and immediately provide drivers and fleets with real-time GPS tracking and comprehensive vehicle monitoring.
The Transflo T-Series ELD is a small form-factor vehicle tracking device that plugs directly into the OBD II port or an available adapter on any truck. Installation is that easy! No antenna or wire-splicing required.
This modern electronic logging device delivers industry-leading reliability and operates on 4G/LTE cellular bands. It includes an updated GPS module with enhanced location data accuracy. The T-Series accelerometer analyzes X, Y, and Z axis data, providing valuable insights for accident detection and examination.
The device is housed in a compact, durable flame retardant ABS hard plastic casing. The T-Series ELD is designed around an open, expandable platform and includes an IOX port for hardware integrations like Driver ID, temperature tracking, satellite communication, and more.
Upon delivery, your new device might be branded Transflo or Geotab on its face plate. Either way, your device is a genuine high-quality OEM Geotab device.
Transflo supports the telematics (electronic) data transfer method by Web services and email over a data or wireless (wi-fi) connection. To enable this during a roadside inspection, the following steps will apply:
-
Upon launching the Transflo HOS app, select Login & Manage HOS.
-
Select HOS from the Dashboard.
-
From the top bar, select the Options tab and scroll to the bottom of the page.
-
Select the Transfer button next to Transfer logs, then choose between email or Web services.
-
Drivers may need to enter an output file comment provided by the inspector.
