HOS Home Screen and Navigation Buttons
Use this article to learn about the main dashboard (the Home screen) and the navigation buttons in the Transflo HOS app.

Tip: Which mobile app should I be using? If you purchased your ELD from a retail location, use the Transflo HOS app described here on this page. If you received your ELD from your fleet (as part of a fleet subscription), use the expanded features in the Transflo Mobile Plus app.

The Home screen consists of configurable dials, menu items, the bottom navigation buttons, and two essential options to more features: the User Settings option and the Main Menu.
Follow these steps:

Power on your smartphone or tablet device and start the HOS app.

Review the Home screen or dashboard. Tap a menu item or dial to open that feature.

To change your personal profile information in the app, tap
User Settings.

To access additional menu items and features, tap
Main Menu.

Tap any of the menu items to open the listed feature.

Menu items or tiles are configurable by fleet and can vary. Dials are also configured by fleet. A menu item might appear as a dial, a menu item, or a tile.

To change the circular dial layout to a more linear box style, swipe on any of the dials. To change back to the dial format, swipe down.

Tap the options at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the following main features in the Transflo Hours-of-Service (HOS) app:

Follow these steps:

To access the main Dashboard or Home screen, tap
Dashboard.

To view the notifications you received, tap
Notifications.

The Notifications screen opens and the bell icon turns white
when selected.

To clear all unread notifications, you can mark them all read. Tap Mark All Read.

To delete all notifications, tap Delete All.

To activate the Hey Transflo voice assist feature:

Tap the
Hey TRANSFLO® (Voice Assist) microphone icon.

Speak your request clearly so the voice recognition software can understand your request.

You might recognize the chat icon from the Transflo Mobile+ app; however the chat messaging feature is not enabled in the Transflo HOS app. If you tap this icon, the following message appears:
You currently do not have any fleets or brokers with chat available.

To view the HOS knowledge base documentation, tap
Help.

To search for knowledge base (KB) articles or help topics, tap Search articles.

Enter a search word or phrase.

Tap the Search icon when complete.

From the list of search results or topics, select one and follow the steps.

To access the automated chat bot, tap Chat with an Expert.

Type your question or search term in the message box.
-
Tap any of the topic lists, ask additional questions, or tap X Close to exit the chat bot.

The lowest black bar under the bottom navigation bar displays your current fleet and current email address saved in your user profile.
