Transfer ELD Duty Status Logs to FMCSA

As an owner-operator, driver, office manager, or fleet administrator, follow these steps to transfer your official ELD duty status logs:

  1. Log in to your ELD web portal at https://my.transfloeld.com. Your administrator received a welcome e-mail with the exact ELD database URL and credentials for your company or fleet account.

  2. Select your preferred language, enter your credentials, and click or tap Log in.

  3. Expand the HOS menu and choose Duty Status Logs.

  4. Click or tap Transfer.

  5. Complete the fields on the Transfer page:

    1. Select a DATE PERIOD or Custom date range for the logs you need to transfer.

    2. Search and select one or more drivers.

    3. Enter any officer, examiner, or investigator code the officer provided to you in the Comment field.

    4. In case of an audit, an FMCSA code will appear on your upload page.

    5. Click Send.

  6. To transfer the logs to an officer, click Transfer to FMCSA. (If you are just testing, click Test Transfer.)

  7. Verify the Transfer ELD Logs page shows a status of Successful or Delivered.

  8. To successfully transfer logs, all required information must already be entered and cannot be missing. If the following information is missing, the transfer might fail or you may be asked by the auditor to re-submit the logs transfer with the updated information.

    Verify and if necessary update the following information:

    1. User Profile:

      • Driver user name

      • Driver First and Last Name

      • Driver License Number and State

      • Rule Set

      • Home Terminal and Home Terminal Address

      • Carrier Number (DOT)

      • Authority Name and Authority Address

    2. Vehicle Profile:

      • Vehicle Description

      • License Plate

      • VIN
