Transflo Broker AI Release Notes
The release notes on this page summarize the major developments in each release of the original Broker AI product by month. Knowledge base (KB) articles will be updated to align with future product development. Users and administrators are advised to check back periodically for updates. All release features, estimates, and documentation are subject to change with or without notice.

Tip: To differentiate the original Workflow AI editions for brokers and factors from the new next-generation products for 2026, we have made the following product name updates here in the KB:
-
Broker AI: The original first-generation Workflow AI Broker edition.
-
Factor AI: The original first-generation Workflow AI Factor edition.
-
Carrier AI: Not applicable. Legacy DMS and Synergize solutions which were branded Transflo Intelligent Automation have been completely re-architected, re-designed, and re-branded Transflo Workflow AI.
-
Workflow AI for Carriers, Brokers, or Factors: The new next-generation suite of products. Workflow AI for Carriers is currently available. Workflow AI Broker and Workflow AI Factor editions are in BETA phase through the remainder of 2025. Enhancements to all three editions, which will share common platform components and features are planned for 2026.

This release will include the following new features and enhancements:
-
As the Transflo Workflow AI platform expands, we continue to perform migrations from legacy environments to the new Workflow AI unified platform for brokers. Separate editions are also available for carriers and factors; however, the solutions share the same platform and resources to optimize performance.
-
The BETA tag has been applied again as the original released product transitions to a new architecture and completely updated user interface. The BETA phase is expected to continue through August and September.

The BETA release includes back-end performance, scalability, and availability improvements, quality fixes, stability enhancements, and maintenance updates.
The following list (compiled August 23) provides a general summary of the updates scheduled for inclusion in the next BETA release:
-
Transflo Infrastucture Optimization: This release marks the starting point of a transition phase away from previous MetaSource workflow engine components to a more robust Transflo infrastructure. The transition is designed to offer faster deployments while reducing both overhead and performance lag associated with building advanced next-generation workflow components. These back-end improvements do not impact customers; however, users will notice performance improvements with large data sets. BETA customers can expect to be fully transitioned over the next 6-8 months depending on multiple new shared infrastructure components for carriers, brokers, and factors.
-
Dashboard Improvements: An iterative series of prototype designs, rework, and user acceptance testing have yielded various dashboard feature design improvements.
-
Usability and Productivity Enhancements: Select areas of the user interface have been and continue to be reviewed and enhanced to reduce the complexity or number of clicks required to perform common actions. These enhancements improve user efficiency, simplify procedure steps, eliminate redundant pain points, and improve user productivity.
-
Bitonal Image Quality: To speed processing, reduce file storage size, and improve OCR interpretation algorithms, some clients receive color images but prefer a conversion to much simpler black and white (bitonal) images where each pixel has either a black or white tonal value stored as one bit (1-bit) or binary digital data. As part of this next release, we are introducing an update to address previously detected image quality issues associated with the conversion of color documents to bitonal.
-
More Customer Deployments and UAT: In addition to our existing BETA customers in various environments (dev, qa, uat, and production), we are excited to provision five (5) new BETA customer deployments next week. Our loyal legacy and expanding new customers are equally excited to be participating in our BETA program. They have expressed an interest in transitioning away from less responsive providers and moving to new financing, quick pay, factoring, and other new deployment initiatives with user acceptance testing (UAT) already underway or planned for 2023 Q4.
-
Flexible Image Storage Options: As new customers join the Transflo suite of products, we continue to provide document storage options both during the BETA trial period and beyond. In addition to Workflow AI, we offer DMS, Synergize, and alternative storage solutions. Customers can even choose innovative options such as a fee-for-storage arrangement with an API to select corrected OCR documents and process associated invoices and billing statements for their own clients.
