Log in to My Electronic Logs Account

Before you drive, log into your HOS electronic logs account.

  1. On the Home screen, tap HOS LOGIN.

    This menu item may appear differently, depending on your fleet configuration.

    Reminder: Depending on possible product configuration changes for your specific fleet, it is possible that user interface labels, buttons, links, dials, tiles, icons, colors, logos, and placement on the screen can change. Features can also be hidden from your view based on permissions. In the documentation, we cover a default setup with screen examples that are generally similar for smart phones and tablets running either iOS or Android OS. Adjust certain steps, if needed, to reflect your actual device and product configuration.

     

  2. On the next screen, enter your HOS Account Email and Password and then tap Sign in. The screen might show the separate HOS Login window or it might be a smaller screen that appears inside the Transflo Mobile+ app.

    If you forget your details, contact your fleet administrator for assistance. As a shortcut, as long as you have the same email address now as you did when you registered, you can reset your password. See Reset My Password.

  3. The next screen asks you to select your vehicle. If you get the message that “no nearby vehicles are detected” you can enter the name of the vehicle, VIN Number, or G9 device number into the bar at the top.

  4. The next screen asks if you wish to attach a trailer. You may attach a trailer and create one in the system or continue with no trailer. You may choose to continue without attaching a trailer.

  5. The next screen asks if you wish to attach a shipment. You may attach and create a Shipment log in the system. You may choose to continue without attaching a Shipment.

    Tip: Trailers and shipments are not required to be attached on your e-logs. The decision to track trailers through Transflo is up to your company.

  6. The next screen asks you if you wish to do a pre-trip inspection.

    • If you are ready to do an inspection you may start it, but be aware that this puts you On Duty and starts your clocks.

    • If you do not wish to do your pre-trip now, tap Skip.

  7. You may get additional windows that come up. Follow the on-screen instructions or skip them to proceed. You can always complete the tasks later on other screens.

  8. Once through, you should be on the Electronic Logs Dashboard with options such as HOS, DVIR, etc. You are successfully logged into your Electronic Logs account and are ready to drive.
