Your supervisor can also advise you if your fleet is using one of the other editions of the Mobile+ app. See Other Editions of the Transflo Mobile+ App below.
This release contains document scanning improvements for 8.0 mega-pixel (MP) devices, support for 16 KB page requirements set by the Google Android OS platform, app updates for Apple iOS users, and general enhancements to the overall performance and stability of the app.
To prepare fleet training instructors and drivers for the new updates available in Release 7.1 of the Mobile+ app, refer to the following release notes below.
For several years, in keeping with iOS and Android device manufacturer specs, Transflo has recommended that our users equip themselves with mobile devices that include at least a 12.0 mega-pixel (MP) camera. However, based on customer feedback, many users still have devices with 8.0 MP cameras. Transflo is pleased to announce that Release 7.1 includes image quality enhancements to support both 12.0 MP and higher cameras and separate enhancements that improve image quality on lower-resolution 8.0 MP cameras.
The 7.1 update includes scanning improvements specifically optimized for drivers using 8.0 mega-pixel (MP) Android OS tablets to make document uploads seamless. [334370]
Camera Image Focus Improvements: We know that getting a clear scan shouldn't be the hardest part of your day. Improved image focus capabilities mean less squinting and fewer rejected motion-blurred or or out-of-focus documents.
Image Burst and Auto-Capture Enhancements: With our new image burst and auto-capture features, the app captures multiple frames in a split second and identifies the clearest one for you. Just point, tap, and let the Mobile+ app pick the best shot for you.
Image Processing, Resolution, and Metadata Enhancements: Resolution processing and metadata has also been improved. This release also provides more efficient 2.0 bits-per-pixel black and white image compression. [172674]
For example, standard TIFF images previously processed at a default resolution of 72 DPI by some backend systems can now be processed at 300 DPI resulting in the following benefits:
-
Improved OCR accuracy
-
Improved downstream system processing and sharper, less blurry images
-
Improved quality for customer systems that still rely on fax transmissions
-
Improved automated document data validation

Starting with Release 6.7.3 and continuing with 7.x releases in 2026, the Mobile+ app will introduce drivers at select fleets to the new features in Transflo User Workflows (also known as Loads 2.0 as distinguished from the original load features known as classic loads, legacy loads, or simply Loads 1.0).
In short, your Transflo Mobile+ app will automatically upgrade you from Loads 1.0 to 2.0. The classic Loads 1.0 features on driver devices will be upgraded to a completely new and improved Loads 2.0 driver workflow experience in phased migrations from December 2025 through August 2026.
-
As a fleet manager, you will receive an initial e-mail notification about your migration timeline from Transflo. By the end of your fleet-specific cut-over period (late 2025 or early 2026), your drivers will now be using the new Transflo Load Workflows 2.0 features on their Mobile+ app to manage all the required and optional steps to deliver their loads or run less-than-load (LTL) routes, submit load documents, and complete any other assigned steps.
-
As a fleet driver, your app will continue to fully support Loads 1.0 until you finish your last load in the legacy screens and are automatically migrated to the new Loads 2.0 screens.
-
To learn more about the new Transflo user workflows, including Load Workflow 2.0 in-app driver steps and features, design studio for fleet administrators, and the API and SDK for fleet system developers, see the New! Transflo Loads 2.0 KB.
In this release we made updates to ensure full support for the Google 16 KB page size change. This change from Google is intended to generally improve overall app performance for any app using the latest Android mobile device.
This release of Transflo Mobile+ includes updates to Drivewyze alert settings for fleets using this available integrated solution. To learn more, see New! Enable Drivewyze Permissions
This release also includes an update to the latest version of the Drivewyze SDK for Android OS to support drivers using the latest editions of Transflo Mobile+ (both mainstream core R7.1 app and in-cab R6.5.15 tablet edition).
-
The Android OS edition of the Drivewyze SDK included with Mobile+ has been updated to the latest release (2.2.9 or higher). The Android OS edition of the Drivewyze SDK included with Mobile+ also supports new performance standards for Android OS 15 and higher set by Google.
-
The Apple iOS edition of the Drivewyze SDK included with Mobile+ has also been updated to the latest release (2.2.8 or higher).
When the Allow Single Load In-Transit setting is enabled for your fleet by Transflo, specific load data will be accessible and pushed forward to help drivers complete on-screen forms in their new load user workflows. In previous releases without such pre-filled form assistance, drivers could sometimes input incorrect data by mistake when filling out forms on their main dashboard or in other places in the app that are not directly associated with a specific load.
This new user workflow feature (for drivers delivering loads or LTL routes) offers the following benefits:
-
Adds the ability to retrieve accurate load data and auto-populate web forms from the dashboard on the driver app.
-
Adds options for forms to appear on the dashboard where they are easily accessible.
-
Reduces driver error.
This feature (also known as Auto Population of Forms from Active Loads) was included in an earlier 7.0.x patch release and remains in 7.1 and newer releases. It is associated with the new Transflo user workflows, a major new product feature for all fleets in 2026. Your fleet might not have transitioned to the new user workflows (also known as migrating from Loads 1.0 to Loads 2.0).
After your fleet upgrades to the new user workflows, when this feature is enabled, select web forms in user workflows and menu items as seen on the Home screen or Dashboard can be pre-filled with load details for the currently active load with significantly less, or in many cases, no driver input required.
Example: Load ABC-123
A driver is delivering load ABC-123. Step 5 of their workflow requires the driver to open a web form for capturing pickup info that prompts them to enter the load number again. By smart pre-filling the form, the load number field can already show ABC-123 so the driver does not have to try to enter it again.
This release of Transflo Mobile+ includes updates to CoPilot 10.28.2.406 for fleets using this available integrated solution on Android or iOS devices.
This release of Transflo Mobile+ includes updates to the latest Geotab SDK. Geotab SDK loading performance has also been improved. Downstream benefits apply to Geotab HOS and ELD telematics features as seen in the Transflo Mobile+ app.
Updates were made to both iOS and Android OS editions of the app to resolve a previously reported bug where the ClientVersion property in API request header data did not match the latest correct release version. [331831]
Bug Fixes in the Android OS Edition:
-
Resolved a bug in older releases where certain HOS pop-up alert messages did not appear as expected. [594015]
-
Resolved a bug in older releases where users could not play certain safety videos or other YouTube learning videos as listed in the Mobile+ app. [617559]
Google Android OS Performance Updates: This release of Transflo Mobile+ includes updates to support performance improvements and architectural standards for apps running on Android OS 15 or newer. Manufacturers continue to build devices with larger physical memory (RAM) and continue to adopt 16 KB and eventually larger page sizes to optimize device performance. In compliance with these standards, Transflo has added support for 16 KB page-size devices to enable the Mobile+ app to run better on newer devices with associated performance improvements.
Devices configured with 16 KB page sizes offer performance improvements for both the system and apps, such as:
-
Faster app launch times: 3.2% faster on average, with more significant improvements (up to 30%) for some apps as tested by Google Android Development teams.
-
Reduced power draw during app launch: 4.6% reduction on average.
-
Faster camera launch times: 4.5% faster hot starts and 6.6% faster cold starts on average.
-
Better boot times: 8.0% (approximately 950 milliseconds) faster on average.
These improvements are based on initial testing by Google Android Development teams; similar results have been observed by Transflo Development teams; however, results on specific devices might vary.
Associated Transflo Mobile+ Examples:
Enhanced Scan Quality Using OCR Text Detection and Confidence Scores: The algorithms used to detect text regions in scanned and uploaded documents have been improved. The app now provides greater sensitivity to the sharpness and quality of text regions resulting in fewer false negative flags. Before these enhancements, regions with clear text to the human eye might previously have been scored as low quality based on skewed photos, torn pages, or other factors causing straight edge detection to fail. [172674]
Refine Photo Image Auto-Save-to-My-Gallery Behavior on iOS Devices: In 2025, Release 6.5 introduced a new scanned image auto-save-to-my-gallery feature that received mixed responses from our users. Some users liked the convenience of having copies of their recently submitted load documents on their local device. They could keep them temporarily and remove them at a later time. However, a majority of users did not want their recently scanned images taking up additional storage space on their phones or tablets.
Release 6.7 reversed the auto-save-to-my-gallery behavior on Android devices and no longer saves copies of recently scanned document images among your local device files.
Release 7.1 refines the behavior on iOS devices, which by default at the OS-level, did continue to save recently scanned photos to the local gallery or library. [332340]
-
Single Capture: When the user captures a single image with the in-app camera, the iOS device will attempt to save the image. However, Mobile+ app will not save it. As soon as it is submitted in the batch, the temporary image is deleted.
-
Multi-Document Capture: When the user wants to capture multiple documents one after the other, the iOS device will again save their images to their local gallery or photo library. This allows the user to preview them and upload the ones they select. In this scenario, the Mobile+ app will continue to prompt the user with the following message:
New images were saved to your gallery during this session. Do you want to delete them from the gallery?
Tip: Your choice has no impact on the images you already uploaded or the photos you already captured and sent in your batch. Think of these new images saved to your gallery as extra local copies for your convenience.
Both iOS and Android users can always view your sent documents again up to 2 days (48 hours) later in the document queue on their local device and up to 14 days later in the cloud. Go to transfloexpress.com and enter your confirmation number. The Status column shows Delivered when all load documents have been submitted.
Similar to the Google OS updates for performance listed above, this release of Mobile+ also includes architecture, system, and performance updates to support users on newer iOS devices.
-
Availability is phased. If you do not see the option to update, check again later. Apple and Google App Store releases are typically phased over as many as 30 days. To learn more, see Phased Release Timeline for Mobile Apps.

Reminder: Transflo is the premier provider of popular commercial apps, custom white label apps, in-cab tablet editions, embedded handset editions, and thousands of additional fleet-specific integrated features. Due to all the possible product configuration changes for your specific fleet, it is possible that user interface labels, buttons, links, dials, tiles, icons, colors, logos, and placement on the screen can vary. Features can also be hidden from your view based on customer account, fleet ID, or user permissions. In the documentation, we cover a default setup with screen examples that are generally similar for smart phones and tablets running either iOS or Android OS. Adjust certain steps, if needed, to reflect your actual device, product configuration, and company policies.
|
To minimize risk and all-or-nothing impacts on our user community, Transflo takes advantage of phased release policies as controlled by the Apple AppStore and Google Play Store.
Depending on the scope of the new app features and the needs of our customers, Transflo typically stretches availability and adoption for Android and iOS app updates over a period of 7-10 business days, with automated or manual throttling (pacing) with an ability to apply the brakes or pause downloads. An option to extend or pause releases over a period of 30 days is also available; for example, to troubleshoot software anomalies.
Example: A new release (call it 3.4.5) is rolled out with the following schedule for gradual user adoption:
-
Week 1: 5%, 2%, or perhaps just 1% of users are able to receive the new app
-
Week 2: 10%
-
Week 3: 20%
-
Week 4, 5, or 6: Up to 100% of users have been auto-updated or granted the ability to manually update.
Both Android and Apple recommend this practice when introducing new app functionality given the complexity of the following variables:
-
Number of users (imagine the impacts on network, server, and device performance if all users across North America attempted to download a new app at the same time or even on the same day)
-
Users on different OS releases
-
Users on different devices with a vast array of hardware configurations and settings
-
Users on different Mobile+ app releases (for example, current, current-1, current-2, etc.)
-
Features and bug fixes in the new release
-
Number of users on different integrated Transflo, partner, or third-party functionality (for example, DriveWyze, Geotab, CoPilot, etc.)
-
Feature variability and almost limitless end-user regression testing scenarios
Typically, without a manual pause, iOS and Android apps automatically follow this incremental schedule: 1%, 2%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 50%, 100%.
Transflo reserves the right to manually pause updates to hold an app for any reason with or without known issues. Conversely, when a patch is deemed critical, we will typically accelerate the release to 100% of devices within 24-36 hours.
As a fleet manager or director, be aware that the following other editions of the Mobile+ app are also available for specific fleets.
If your fleet is using the in-cab edition of Mobile+ see Mobile+ In-Cab 6.5.15 Release Notes.
R6.5.15 is no longer delayed and has officially superseded the previous 6.4.2 release; this special new in-cab edition of the app is pre-installed for drivers on in-cab tablet devices.
If your fleet is using a pre-configured white label branded edition of the Mobile+ app, you can download and install your own pre-configured fleet-ready edition of the Transflo Mobile+ app. For Android devices, see More by Transflo in the Play Store. Transflo white label apps for Apple iOS phones and tablets are available in the App Store.
Examples:
Southern Pride Driver Services
Automated links are provided only for Android (Google Play Store) above. You can find similar iOS apps in the Apple AppStore.
If your fleet has unique hardware requirements, a special embedded edition of the Mobile+ app was tested on Honeywell handsets running Android OS. See Transflo Mobile+ 6.7/7.0.0.11 Embedded Handset Edition Release Notes.
Most fleets will benefit more from using our popular mainstream core edition of the app, a white label edition, or the in-cab edition for Android OS tablets. However, if your fleet has a significant investment in special hardware devices for drivers, this special limited edition of the app remains an available deployment configuration option for fleets interested in working with our Sales and Professional Services teams to scope similar features and requirements.
If you are a smaller retail ELD customer or driver interested only in hours-of-service (HOS) logs, compliance, and basic ELD telematics features, you can download a special edition of the Transflo Mobile+ app that is commonly known as the Transflo HOS app. If you are a retail ELD customer, do not download the Mobile+ app. Instead, download the Transflo HOS app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on your device
Tip: After download and installation, it will show Transflo Mobile+ on the main screen but it is only the special HOS app.
Due to rigorous QA testing across numerous platforms, devices, and API configurations, features and dates are subject to change with or without advance notice. Check back at a later date to confirm in-scope functionality by reviewing the updated release notes as they become available.
