As a technology leader with a cooperative North American and global community of developers and content contributors, Transflo does not offer an opinion on language requirements for drivers or employees in other roles. Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations currently states that a person is qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle if they “can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.” Because translating the user interface elements in the app and the step-by-step instructions in the knowledge base may assist drivers, Transflo is able to simply suggest that translation tools from Google and other providers may be helpful to you.
