Claim Unassigned HOS Logs [retaildriver fleetdriver driver hos-app tfm]
As a driver, you can claim unassigned logs. The HOS functionality in the Transflo Mobile+ or HOS app will ask you to review any unassigned logs and claim them if they are yours. If you make a mistake, you can unclaim or unassign the logs.
The ELD creates duty status logs even when your vehicle is driven without a currently logged in driver. If this occurs, you are asked to review and claim the unassigned logs.
The Claim Unassigned Logs screen appears if the currently selected vehicle has been driven without a driver being logged in.
The logs shown are unassigned because the vehicle moved without a logged in driver. If the records belong to your HOS duty status logs, assign them to yourself; otherwise, skip this page. The Drive (D) and ON duty status logs are automatically paired when claiming them.
-
You can claim logs by selecting all relevant logs and pressing the Assign to me button.
-
You can also skip this step with the Skip button.
For incorrectly claimed logs, the HOS features in your app asks drivers to claim unassigned logs every time they log in. Sometimes, drivers can make errors when claiming logs as their own, and these errors can be corrected.
-
Navigate to the Logs page on your app.
-
Find the incorrectly claimed log and select it.
-
Next to the By field, tap the Unassign button.
-
Tap Save.
