Scan a Barcode
As a driver, you can use Transflo Mobile+ to scan barcodes to populate fields in the app with your device camera. You might see a bar code field where you can scan in a code for any of the following examples:
-
bar code sticker on your trailer
-
load number or load ID
-
your driver photo ID
-
ELD serial number
-
RFID tag for a palette ID
-
QR code for a less-than-load (LTL) shipment or a loading dock code
-
fuel discount loyalty card in your wallet or on your key ring from a vendor with a chain of stores
-
Complete your tasks and steps as normal.
For example, as a driver, you might be filling out a safety form on your mobile device or completing a required trip sheet.
-
If a bar code appears in a field, tap the field.
-
You can enter an ID number or tap the bar code symbol to launch the integrated camera on your mobile device.
-
Your camera goes into bar code scanning mode.
-
Hold your device camera lens over the bar code you want to scan.
-
Your camera identifies the code.
-
The camera converts the code into an alpha-numeric ID and enters it in the field. You can edit the value if needed.
