Known Issue: Stop Saving Scanned Files to My Gallery

Drivers sometimes ask, "Is there a way to stop saving the photos to my gallery on my phone?" or "How do stop scanned images from being stored on my phone?" This is a known issue. It is tentatively scheduled to be fixed in Release 6.7 by reverting to the standard behavior before Transflo Mobile+ Release 6.5 when scanned images were sent but not saved to your local device.

As a workaround, open your gallery of recent saved image files and delete them from your device. Follow the instructions for your mobile device and mobile operating system.

 

Revert Photo Image Auto-Save to Gallery

Release 6.5 introduced an auto-save feature that received mixed responses from our users. Some users liked the convenience of having copies of their recently submitted load documents on their local device. They could keep them temporarily and remove them at a later time. However, a majority of users did not want the recently scanned images taking up additional storage space on their phones or tablets.

As of September 2025, subject to change, Release 6.7 (estimated release date October 15, 2025) will undo the auto-save to my gallery behavior and no longer save copies of recently scanned document images among your local device files.
