Cancel Transflo HOS ELD Telematics Service
You can temporarily suspend service (a nominal service fee applies) or permanently terminate service for your electronic logging device (ELD). Before you cancel your ELD device service, review these steps:
-
Decide if you want to cancel now or if you need to wait another week or month or until some major milestone date is reached. (If you are retiring from a rewarding career as a driver or just won the lottery, congratulations.)
-
If you have decided to cancel, decide how you want to process your request:
-
Suspend Service: With this option, you are charged only $10 per month to keep the telecommunications SIM card in your ELD in an inactive state so that it can be used again someday in the future. Every ELD has a SIM card inside to transmit required telematics data to our servers through a data connection. To preserve and maintain that SIM card, tell the Transflo Support representative that you want to "suspend (but not terminate) my service."
Tip: If you suspend service, at any time in the future you can re-activate your suspended account and use the ELD again.
-
Terminate Service: With this option, your service is canceled and your SIM card is terminated. The SIM card and the ELD which were assigned to you can no longer be used now or at any time in the future. If you want this option, tell the Transflo support representative that you want to "terminate my service."
Important! If you terminate service, your ELD is permanently disabled and cannot be re-activated later.
