Resolve Synergize Viewer Issue: Images are Blurry, Distorted, Low Quality, or Not Clear
Use this article when sections of a TIFF document are grainy, blurry, fuzzy, distorted, low quality, or otherwise not readable in Synergize Viewer due to a loss of resolution.

Examine the properties of the TIFF file in the AsTiffTagViewer application. If the TIFF file is uncompressed or compressed in an unsupported format, the quality is reduced. To improve quality, compress the file in one of these recommended formats:

TIFF Group 4

TIFF Group 7

LZW

To improve quality, compress the file using an image renderer in one of these recommended formats:

TIFF Group 4

TIFF Group 7

LZW
NOTE: Compression format LZW can only be read in Synergize 12.3 SP6 or newer versions.

This can be done by printing the image using the virtual Synergize Printer.

Open TIFF file in a third-party viewer.

Print image using one of the PCs installed Synergize Printers

Index the document back into Synergize at your discretion from the output directory.

(Optional) It is also possible a Synergize Client upgrade will resolve this issue. If you cannot re-compress the images, contact Microdea support to perform tests with later versions of Synergize Client.
