Check for HOS Updates

As a driver you can check for updates your administrator made to your profile or HOS logs. You might check for updates if those updates haven't automatically come through to the app for whatever reason (perhaps cell coverage issues).

To check for updates to HOS functionality, follow the steps below in the Transflo Mobile+ app or the Transflo HOS app. The steps are nearly identical for either Transflo app.

Tip: Some profile or HOS log changes may not take effect until the driver either logs out and back in, or performs the Check for Updates steps below. These are separate HOS updates from the Transflo-Geotab platform, not app release updates from Transflo. Your iOS or Android device will remind you about Transflo app updates.

 

 

 

  1. On the Home screen or dashboard of the HOS app or Mobile+ app, tap HOS LOGIN or the HOS duty status dial gauge or menu item.

  2. At the bottom of the HOS Dashboard, tap More.

  3. Tap Check for updates.

 

Reminder: Transflo is the premier provider of popular commercial apps, custom white label apps, in-cab tablet editions, embedded handset editions, and thousands of additional fleet-specific integrated features. Due to all the possible product configuration changes for your specific fleet, it is possible that user interface labels, buttons, links, dials, tiles, icons, colors, logos, and placement on the screen can vary. Features can also be hidden from your view based on customer account, fleet ID, or user permissions.
