Resolve Simple Scan or Scan Capture Error: Kscn3032.ocx failed to register

Use this article to resolve this error that might occur when Kofax VRS software is not installed on the PC. After launching or attempting to use Simple Scan or Scan Capture, a user might receive an error message indicating that Kscn3032.ocx failed to register. This may also occur when performing an installation of Simple Scan.

  1. Install Kofax VRS software that was accompanied with the scanner.
