Resolve Error: Subscript Out of Range

Use this article to resolve a known issue you might experience when viewing a document with LZW compression in Synergize 12.3 SP6 or older. Users might receive a Subscript Out of Range error when trying to preview a document in Synergize Explorer or Synergize Web Explorer.

Check the version of Synergize EMC (Enterprise Management Console) in use.
If the synergize version is prior to 12.3 SP6, the issue might be with the file compression when the document is scanned.
Download the file with the error and check the compression method by right-clicking the file and going to properties and details.
If found to be LZW compression, to resolve this issue, apply one of the following fixes:
- Print the original image with Synergize Printer and then index the document again.
- Upgrade to Synergize 12.3 SP6 or higher.
