Restart SPS Service Manually

Use this article to restart the Synergize Process Server (SPS) service. Skip to Step 5 if you need to restart SPS service directly.

  1. Launch Synergize Process Designer using the Synergize Process Server (SPS) shortcut on your desktop or locate the SynergizeProcessDesigner.msc file in one of the following locations (only the last part of the path name is different):

    SPS version 1.0.2.25 or lower:

    C:\Program Files\Microdea\Synergize Process Server

     

    SPS version 14.0 or higher:

    C:\Program Files\Microdea\Synergize Process Designer

     

  2. For each process, right-click the process and choose Process Overview in the shortcut menu.

  3. Click Stop.

  4. Click Yes if you receive a prompt.

  5. Open services and search for synergize process server service.

    On Windows 10 or 11, click Start and search for services.

  6. Right-click the Synergize Process Server service and choose Restart.

  7. Close services.

  8. Launch Synergize Process Designer again.
