Set Repository Tree Preferences for Category Builder Fields in Synergize Web Explorer

Use this article to modify the Category Builder tree, categories, and fields for each user. Changing repository tree preferences gives the user easy access to documents in Synergize.

 

  1. In a supported web browser, navigate to Synergize Web Explorer:

    http://<Server-Name>/synergize/synergize.html

     

  2. Log in to Web Explorer with your user credentials.

  3. Click Tools and then click the Category Builder option

  4. Select the required column from the Fields column and drag to the bottom pane

  5. Drag the field from bottom pane to the categories column. You cannot drag and drop items directly between Fields and Categories.

  6. Delete existing fields under the Categories column and click OK.

  7. Log out from Synergize Web Explorer to save the preferences for the current user.

  8. To change these settings for multiple users, repeat these steps for each user profile.

  9. Log back in to confirm the settings are applied.
